The SVBC promotes bicycling in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley by organizing rides for a variety of levels and abilities, as well as lobbying for safer roads for all.

The purpose of the SVBC is to provide opportunities for extending the individual's knowledge and appreciation of the environment through experiences in bicycling by: promoting cycling, encouraging recreational cycling activities, raising public recognition of the need for safer cycling conditions, cooperating with public authorities in the observance of all traffic regulations, and advocating registration of bicycles.

Joining the SVBC

Our yearly dues are a mere $10 for an individual and $15 for a family. Membership includes our monthly newsletter. See the "membership" link below for an application and newsletter archives. We also offer a joint Shenandoah Mountain Bike Club membership for only $5 for an individual and $8 for a family.
